PAINTING, PRINTING AND FILLING LINE

The painted drums are conveyed to the printing station to be printed by inkjet printer in three rows of letter/number characters indicating type, code and batch number avoiding print on the weld seam on two opposite sides of the drum body.

For the filling of the drums with the lubrication oil, the drums are first oriented to insert the filling lance into filling flange as they move on the conveyor line. The two stage filling, coarse filling first and then fine filling is made at filling posts in automatic way by control of the weight under PLC control of filling line. After filling, the automatic capping at both flanges are performed automatically. The last operation is sealing. Then, the filled drum is conveyed away on the conveyor line.
